Job summary

FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited is seeking a Senior Vehicle & GSE Technician to maintain and repair ground support equipment and fleet systems, ensuring safe operations for FedEx Ramp/Sort/Aircraft MXT teams. The role requires a full driving licence and relevant automotive or plant qualifications, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Working hours are 40 per week, with a salary of £24.93 per hour plus premia for late shifts.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence (LCV and/or GSE licence).
• Relevant qualification in automotive, truck or plant equipment.
• Able to lift & manoeuvre vehicle components up to 25kg & larger weights with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for repair and maintenance of GSE, electrical systems, and location-specific equipment to ensure safe operation of FedEx Ramp/Sort/Aircraft MXT teams.
• Performs servicing and repair of complex Vehicle & GSE, using diagnostic equipment and following approved processes; maintains documentation and supports lead duties.
