Job summary

Anson Mccade is actively seeking a Senior User Researcher to lead and deliver user research across complex digital programmes in the UK. You will be embedded in multidisciplinary Agile teams, turning findings into actionable insights to guide product decisions with stakeholders.

You will mentor junior researchers and champion inclusive, user-centered design on high-profile projects across public and private sectors, with a strong benefits package and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in User Research.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams.
• Expertise across a range of user research methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience influencing design, product and delivery decisions through research.
• Experience mentoring, coaching or leading other researchers.
• Public sector or consultancy experience would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering user research across complex digital programmes.
• Planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research activities.
• Working closely with designers, product managers and engineers within Agile teams.
• Turning research findings into clear recommendations and actionable insights.
• Building strong relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Championing user-centred design and inclusive research practices.
• Supporting and mentoring more junior researchers.
