Job Description:

Role: User Researcher

Location: Remote (occasional travel to Leeds)

Sector: Public Health

In this User Researcher contract role, you'll:

  1. Uncover the voice of users: Design and conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to understand the needs, challenges, and experiences of healthcare professionals and patients.
  2. Be the champion of human-centred design: Analyse research findings and translate them into actionable insights for our product and design teams.
  3. Collaborate with a dynamic team: Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure user voices are heard and addressed throughout development.
  4. Drive impact, fast: This is a fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly influence the product roadmap and impact real people's lives.

The Ideal User Researcher Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as a User Researcher, ideally within the health tech or public sector domain.
  2. A strong understanding of GDS principles and the public sector user research landscape.
  3. Expertly skilled in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
  4. A clear, concise communicator who can present research findings to diverse stakeholders.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while collaborating effectively within a team.
  6. BPSS clearance is required for this role.
