Checkout.com is hiring a Senior Analyst, Underwriting Quality Control to establish and continually improve a risk-based QC framework for Underwriters. You will conduct hands-on QC reviews, drive remediation and provide management information to enhance underwriting quality.

The role reports to the Director of Underwriting and collaborates with leadership to close gaps, improve controls and ensure regulatory alignment across the lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Significant experience in underwriting, merchant due diligence, AML/KYC/KYB, onboarding, financial crime operations or related risk functions.
• Experience in payments or fintech risk controls and quality assurance is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Build and own the underwriting QC framework with risk-based sampling and governance.
• Perform QC reviews of underwriting cases ensuring complete documentation and evidence.
• Drive remediation with clear feedback and escalation for recurring issues.
• Produce regular QC reporting with insights on coverage, defects and trends.
• Build underwriting capability by identifying gaps and delivering targeted training.
