Senior Underwriter

Our client is a newly formed forward-thinking MGA that is at the forefront of data analytics and digital underwriting solutions. Their innovative digital underwriting platform enhances collaboration with their carrier partnerships, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of their clients and stakeholders.

They are looking to recruit a Senior Property Portfolio Underwriter who will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Assess and underwrite North American Property insurance submissions, focusing on risk evaluation and pricing strategies.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor portfolio performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners to enhance collaboration and drive profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the client’s digital underwriting platform and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate portfolio insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Experience in property underwriting, preferably with exposure to N.American risks.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data modeling and risk assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with digital underwriting systems and technology-driven solutions in the insurance industry.
