Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Reading is looking for a Payroll Compliance Specialist to ensure compliance with payroll processes in the UK. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and external advisors to support accurate payroll delivery while leading various compliance initiatives.

This role demands strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and experience managing outsourced payroll providers. The candidate will demonstrate analytical skills and attention to detail to manage compliance risks proactively.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of PAYE, NIC, RTI, pensions, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing and supporting multi-entity payroll environments.
  • Capable of conducting payroll reconciliations and supporting audits.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary payroll compliance contact and manage payroll processing.
  • Review and validate payroll inputs and changes from HR.
  • Ensure compliance with PAYE, NIC, pensions, and HMRC requirements.
  • Support payroll controls through reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Drive payroll compliance initiatives and process improvements.
