Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking a UAS Senior Technician for their Farnborough site. You will report to the Team Leader and be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and operation of Uncrewed Systems for Test & Evaluation trials. This involves conducting scheduled maintenance and operating systems you are trained on.

You should have 3–5 years of relevant experience and possess an engineering qualification. The role offers flexible working patterns and a competitive salary plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a regulated and safety-focused environment.
• Experience using Online Manuals and maintenance recording solutions.
• Ability to learn new systems as required.

Responsibilities

• Building, testing, and repairing Uncrewed Systems.
• Operating and maintaining Uncrewed Systems during trials.
• Problem solving and fault diagnosis on equipment.

Skills

Uncrewed Systems experience

UAS flying experience

High IT competence

Fault diagnosis

Education

Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical)

CAA Remote Piloting qualifications

Full UK Driving Licence
