Job summary

ICON Plc is seeking a Trial Vendor Senior Manager to oversee vendor-related aspects of global clinical trials. The role is sponsor-dedicated and supports multiple countries, including remote work options, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and risk management.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive deliverables, and manage vendor contracts and amendments, ensuring timelines and budgets are met across diverse trials.

Qualifications

• University degree in medicine, science, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Must be available to start within 4–5 weeks.
• Demonstrated ability to drive the clinical deliverables of a study.
• 3+ years working experience and excellent knowledge of clinical operation processes and vendor management.
• Must have user acceptance testing for eCOA and IRT experience.
• Vendor management; outsourcing, contracting, sourcing of clinical services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement clinical trial protocols and procedures.
• Build and manage strong relationships with trial investigators and stakeholders.
• Ensure all trials are conducted in compliance with local, national, and international regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Problem-solve and make critical decisions regarding trial design, vendor selection, and risk management.
• Review of vendor related protocol sections during protocol development.
• Contribute to the development of vendor contract amendments.
