Job summary

HDR in London is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to lead and deliver structural and transportation projects. You will manage design activities, monitor schedules, and ensure quality across disciplines within a 100-percent employee-owned environment.

You will contribute to client bids, proposals and the growth of HDR’s Transportation Group while advancing to higher levels of leadership and technical excellence in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership (IStructE or ICE preferred).
• Minimum 6 years’ industry experience in design consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural engineering projects from concept design to detailed design, tender and contract, on site supervision, to completion.
• Ensure all design projects and reports meet quality standards; conduct in-house design reviews.
• Assist with management and supervision of project delivery, including client briefs and deliverables.
• Monitor progress, variations and project budgets; coordinate with design teams.
