Qualifications

Degree in civil or structural engineering is required.
Chartered status or working toward chartership preferred (IStructE or ICE).
Minimum 10 years' industry experience in design consultancy with leading structural projects.

Responsibilities

Lead design, management and supervision of project delivery; establish client brief and deliverables.
Carry out structural projects from concept to detailed design, tender, on-site supervision and completion.
Manage design teams for coordinated, technically compliant outputs.
Maintain QA and design reviews; ensure CDM compliance.
Monitor progress, budgets and resource allocation; develop client relationships and pursue new business.
