Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered or working towards Chartership (IStructE or ICE preferred)
• Minimum 10 years’ industry experience in design consultancy
• Experience leading structural projects across aviation, highways, rail/transit and maritime
• Strong knowledge of UK design standards and CDM 2015

Responsibilities

• Lead design, management and supervision of project delivery and client briefs
• Undertake concept to detailed design, tender, on-site supervision to completion
• Manage design teams for coordinated, high-quality outputs
• Ensure QA, design reviews and regulatory compliance across projects
• Monitor progress, variations and project budgets
• Lead bids, proposals and responses to tenders
• Develop and coach staff within the group to maximise potential
• Maintain strong client relationships and repeat business
