Stantec is seeking an Associate Director to lead a growing Transport Planning team in Birmingham. You will provide senior technical and commercial leadership across development planning projects, working with private-sector clients to shape transport strategies and delivery across the Midlands.

You will mentor transport planners, manage bids, and secure opportunities while collaborating with planning, highways, infrastructure and environment specialists. Hybrid/flexible working is available.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience in transport planning consultancy at Associate/Associate Director level.
• Strong experience in development planning (residential, mixed-use, commercial or strategic land).
• Experience with private-sector clients including developers and landowners.
• Understanding of planning and development processes and transport’s role.

Aufgaben

• Lead delivery of development and transport planning projects across the private sector.
• Provide strategic transport advice to developers, housebuilders, landowners and other clients.
• Lead transport planning for residential, mixed-use, commercial and strategic schemes.
• Advise on transport strategy, accessibility, sustainable travel and impacts.
• Prepare and oversee Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans.
• Develop client relationships and drive business development.
• Mentor and develop transport planners within the team.
• Support growth of the Transport Planning business in the region.
