Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Transport Planning team in Birmingham, based at the Cherry Street office. You will deliver development planning and transport planning projects for private-sector clients, guiding strategy from land promotion to detailed planning.

Ideal candidates have strong development planning expertise, a proven record of winning work, and the ability to mentor teams while growing our Midlands presence and client network.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in transport planning consultancy at senior level.
• 2 lines
• Strong development planning experience, residential and commercial.
• Proven ability to win work and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and transport planning projects for private sector clients.
• Provide strategic advice to developers, housebuilders and landowners.
• Oversee Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans.
• Mentor transport planners and lead bids and client presentations.
• Build and grow the Birmingham and Midlands transport planning presence.
