Haskoning in the UK is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead vision-led transport planning and placemaking, delivering high-quality outputs with autonomy within a multidisciplinary environment. You will work with colleagues across engineering, design and consultancy to shape sustainable transport solutions.

You will engage with clients, develop policies and business cases, and lead transport modelling and planning applications, growing your expertise alongside senior professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to UK transport planning projects for public sector or development clients within a consultancy.
• Strong analytical and report-writing abilities.
• Knowledge of planning legislation and sustainable development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver vision-led transport planning and placemaking.
• Identify changes in public transport networks and produce deliverable, affordable solutions.
• Develop and refine transport policies and strategies for UK clients.
• Prepare evidence-based business cases for sustainable schemes.
• Use transport modelling in a pragmatic way balancing forecasts with user needs.
• Provide input into planning applications with knowledge of planning legislation.
