Qualifications

• Experience contributing to transport planning projects for UK public sector or development sector clients.
• Strong judgement to interpret policy, guidance and technical evidence.
• Experience in data analysis and presenting insights, including data mapping/visualisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reports.
• Collaborative approach to support and review colleagues' work.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering active and sustainable places by applying vision-led transport planning and placemaking principles.
• Identifying the need for change in public transport networks and producing deliverable, affordable solutions.
• Developing and refining transport policies and strategies for UK public sector clients.
• Preparing evidence-based business cases for sustainable transport schemes.
• Using transport modelling in a proportionate and pragmatic way, balancing forecasts with user needs.
• Providing expert input into planning applications, underpinned by planning legislation and sustainable development practices.
• Delivering major infrastructure consent and subsequent compliance requirements.
