Job summary

Haskoning is seeking a Senior to Principal Public Transport Planner to help shape vision-led transport planning in the UK. Qualifications

• Strong data analysis skills to extract insights from datasets.
• Experience using GIS mapping software for transport planning.
• Excellent report-writing skills to communicate complex findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network reviews to ensure services fit for purpose and deliver best value.
• Develop and refine public transport policies.
• Develop franchising and partnership models for local requirements.
• Design and implement fares and ticketing schemes using big data models.
• Support authorities through business case development and funding processes.
• Develop new public transport networks including demand forecasting and route testing.
• Provide tools and advice to help clients prioritise investment in services and bus infrastructure.
