Haskoning is seeking motivated transport planning professionals to take ownership of technical outputs, client engagement and project direction within the Integrated Transport Planning (ITP) team in the UK. You will work autonomously in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment on people-focused transport planning projects, supported by industry specialists.

Qualifikationen

• Experience contributing to transport planning projects for UK public sector or development sector clients within a consultancy or similar professional environment.
• Sound professional judgement with the ability to interpret policy, guidance and technical evidence.
• Experience undertaking research and analysis that informs people-focused, sustainable transport outcomes.
• Ability to work constructively with clients and stakeholders to support the development and delivery of transport solutions.
• Strong data mapping and visualization skills to present findings and insights.

Aufgaben

• Designing and delivering active and sustainable places by applying vision-led transport planning and placemaking principles.
• Identifying the need for change in public transport networks and producing solutions that are deliverable, affordable and sustainable.
• Developing and refining transport policies and strategies for UK public sector clients.
• Preparing evidence-based business cases for sustainable transport schemes.
• Using transport modelling in a proportionate and pragmatic way - balancing future travel forecasts with real-world user needs.
• Providing expert input into planning applications, underpinned by a deep knowledge of planning legislation and sustainable development practices.
• Delivering major infrastructure consent and subsequent compliance requirements.
