Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Development Planning and Management team in the UK, focused on spatial planning for the Strategic Road Network. Based in London or other SE offices with hybrid working, you will review planning applications, conduct high-quality transport assessments, and mentor junior staff.

You will build client relationships, deliver tasks on time and to budget, and apply knowledge of UK planning policies and transport modelling tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Transport Planning or related field
• Membership in CIHT/TPS/CILT preferred
• Experience in transport modelling and reviewing transport assessments
• Mentoring junior staff

Responsibilities

• Review planning applications affecting the SRN
• Prepare technical notes and deliverables
• Mentor junior staff and manage workload
