Job summary
Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Transport Planner to support our Surrey office in transport planning, highway design, flood risk and drainage input at all stages of development.
You will lead Transport Assessments, travel planning and modelling, liaise with authorities and design teams, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Hybrid working and ongoing professional development are offered.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years relevant Transport Planning experience and degree in a related field.
- Understanding of the UK planning process is essential.
- Further education or Master’s in a transport planning/engineering discipline would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and supporting notes.
- Undertake transport modelling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Interpret policy and apply it to development proposals.
- Lead stakeholder engagement with local authorities and design teams.
- Mentor junior staff and ensure health, safety and QA compliance.
