Penguin Recruitment is partnering with a leading UK consultancy to appoint a Senior Transport Planner in London/SURREY, with hybrid working arrangements. This role focuses on delivering transport assessments, statements, and travel plans across a range of development projects in the UK.

The successful candidate will bring strong transport planning experience, proficiency in modelling, and excellent report writing and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
• Professional accreditation with CIHT, TPS, ICE, or working towards accreditation is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering transport assessments, transport statements, and travel plans for development projects.
• Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct transport assessments and transport statements for development projects.
• Manage transport modelling and travel plans; interpret data to support recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and support bids and proposals.
• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure high-quality project delivery.
