Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in Oxford is seeking an Associate Transport Planner to lead and support a range of transport planning projects from our Oxford office.

Qualifications

• Several years' experience in transport planning, preferably within consultancy.
• Strong technical report writing and analytical skills.
• Experience preparing development planning documentation.
• Progression towards, or achievement of, a relevant professional qualification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead transport planning inputs across development projects.
• Prepare and review Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Undertake transport modelling, accessibility assessments and active travel strategies.
• Manage client relationships and liaise with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Play an active role in business development and bids to secure new work.
• Support the commercial growth of the Oxford team.
