Job summary

EMED Group in Banbury is seeking a Controller/Planner to organise a high-volume, time-critical transport operation. You will schedule booked patient journeys, allocate crews and vehicles, and ensure on-time arrivals and efficient turnarounds.

The role requires analytical thinking, strong communication with hospital staff, and the ability to re-plan in real time to meet KPIs. Benefits include pension, life assurance, and employee support services.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated, time-critical operational environments.
• Desirable logistics/control/analytical experience.
• Experience working to KPIs and using systems to monitor performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily and future bookings in Cleric controlling system and allocate crews/vehicles.
• Dispatch and manage operational crews to ensure timely patient transport and KPI targets.
• Receive transport requests and queries while ensuring procedure compliance.
• Perform clerical duties and maintain patient records in the system.
• Coordinate with hospitals, GPs, nursing homes and wards.
• Re-plan resources in real time to minimise KPI impact.
