Job summary

Omexom UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Transmission to lead delivery of projects within the GGP unit. You will direct resources, manage budgets and drive safety and quality to the highest standards, within time and cost constraints.

• Proven managerial track record with ability to execute critical tasks in real time.
• Experience in budgets management and cost control.
• Ability to plan works efficiently and manage industrial staff.
• Customer-centric decision making with strong financial performance experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality and safety management in contracting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear direction and support ensuring optimum utilization of resources through improved work programming and scheduling.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation and identification of best practices.
• Deliver works in line with best-in-class safety and quality.
• Ensure pre-calculated tendered margins are consistently delivered.
• Submit claims for works done to maximize cash flows.
• Manage and motivate employees and sub-contractors and address underperformance.
• Manage cost budgets for the works location.
• Prepare outputs for periodic reviews with Customers.
• Maximize productivity and proper sizing of work teams.
• Handle HR issues at site level with appropriate procedures.
• Deliver financial and progress data for reporting to Finance.
• Interact courteously and professionally with Customers when required.
• Deliver KPIs including safety audits, product margins, operating costs, cash flow, and attendance.
