Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to drive major onshore and offshore electricity transmission projects as part of the Beyond 2030 plan. You will lead cross-functional teams through feasibility, option selection, planning, consenting, procurement and handover for complex capital schemes.

You will manage budgets, schedules and risks with a strong focus on safety, environment and stakeholder engagement, while delivering within time and cost constraints.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading large, complex capital projects.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle from feasibility to handover.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams including employees, consultants, contractors and supply chain partners.
• Guide project development from early feasibility through construction handover.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, risks, procurement and governance.
