Know How Resourcing is seeking an experienced Transformer Engineer for on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of distribution and power transformers. You will travel across the UK and Europe to assemble equipment, run tests, and support customers with high-quality service.

Role requires hands-on mechanical/electrical experience, ECS accreditation, and the ability to read drawings. Flexibility for unsociable hours and travel is essential, with a strong safety mindset and attention to

Qualifications

• Experience fitting distribution and power transformers on site
• Hands-on mechanical/electrical engineering experience
• Ability to read mechanical and schematic drawings
• ECS accreditation and driving licence
• Health & Safety and risk assessments experience
• Ideally Overhead Crane/Slinging training and IPAF certification
• Ideally FLT license

Responsabilités

• On-site installation, fitting, wiring and testing of transformers and packages
• Travel to UK and Europe third-party sites to build and test equipment
• Ensure equipment assembled and tested to high standards
• Act as customer-facing ambassador on site with high service levels
• Read and interpret mechanical and schematic drawings
• Use general workshop machinery and hand tools
• Adapt to changing priorities and work unsociable hours when required
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve site challenges
