Know How Resourcing is seeking an experienced Transformer Engineer to join an established business. Based on site with some pre-fitting in-house, you will install distribution and power transformers, assemble packages, and conduct testing to high standards.

You will travel to third-party sites across the UK and Europe, liaising with customers and delivering excellent service under pressure. A strong mechanical/electrical background and valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on site fitting distribution and power transformers is essential.
• Hands-on mechanical/electrical engineering experience is essential.
• Ability to read mechanical and schematic drawings is essential.
• Apprentice trained or Mechanical/Electrical qualification is essential.
• Experience with Health & Safety and risk assessments is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsabilités

• Install transformers and package substations on site, including wiring and testing.
• Travel to third-party sites in the UK and Europe to assemble and test equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings to assemble components correctly.
• Maintain high safety standards and respond to on-site challenges.
