Job summary

Amplius is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple transformation projects, support and develop Project Managers, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to raise delivery quality and PM capability across the organisation. You will empower project governance, manage risks and dependencies, and drive continuous improvement.

This permanent, full-time hybrid role offers a base salary of £65,100 per year, with a 36.25-hour workweek and offices across Milton Keynes, Rushden, Peterborough

Qualifications

• Recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile, APM, MSP or similar).
• Experience delivering transformation, business change or process improvement projects/programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple projects and programme-level workstreams, ensuring they are well planned, delivered and closed.
• Line manage, coach and develop Project Managers, balancing workloads and building capability.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, providing updates and reports.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, resources and budgets, escalating concerns as needed.
• Ensure governance, controls and documentation standards are followed with quality deliverables.
• Lead lessons learned and continuous improvement activities to strengthen project delivery.
