Job summary

Pearson is seeking an accomplished Principal Program Manager to own a portfolio within the Pearson Qualifications Transformation Programme. This executive-sponsored role leads large-scale transformation across portfolios including Customer, Learner, Assessment Services, and Product & Content.

You will translate business objectives into actionable program plans, drive delivery across multiple workstreams, and report to the Senior Program Director.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in leading large-scale transformation programs.
• Senior leadership influence across multiple organizational layers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree or certifications preferred, e.g. PMP or Agile.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex transformation programs.
• Translate strategy into actionable program plans and roadmaps.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams in a matrix environment and build partnerships.
• Apply commercial acumen to assess opportunities and optimize resources.
• Identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and constraints.
• Establish governance and reporting frameworks for transparency.
• Provide data-driven updates to senior stakeholders.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture and grow program talent.
