Job summary

Suffolk County Council is recruiting a Senior Transformation Manager to lead the SEND reform programme. You will provide strategic leadership, turn priorities into delivery plans, and drive system-wide reform across the Local Area Partnership.

You will manage governance, risk and reporting, build cross-agency collaborations, and use data to demonstrate impact. A strong SEND background and senior programme leadership are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation and improvement programmes.
• Expert programme management, governance and delivery skills.
• Strong SEND leadership experience and knowledge of statutory frameworks.
• Excellent partnership-building, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly developed analytical, reporting and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Suffolk's SEND Reform Transformation Programme, turning priorities into delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
• Provide robust programme governance and assurance, managing risks and reporting.
• Build multi-agency partnerships across education, health, social care and the voluntary sector.
• Use data and stakeholder feedback to monitor performance and drive improvement.
• Provide leadership and line management to the SEND reform programme team.
