Job description

We are looking for a Senior Transformation & Customer Manager to join our Liberty Blume team in Bradford (BD4). This hybrid position requires at least two days per week in the office.

Joining our Blume Transformation team, the Senior Transformation Manager plays a key leadership role in delivering strategic transformation projects across Finance within Blume Business Solutions. This role is focused on driving operational perfection, improving cost efficiency, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

In addition to leading internal transformation initiatives, the Senior Transformation Manager also supports business development efforts—contributing to the pre-sales process by demonstrating our transformation capabilities to prospective clients. This dual-focus position blends deep expertise in finance processes, strong project leadership, and commercial insight to support both the successful delivery and continued growth of BBS.

What will you be doing?

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of finance transformation projects across key functions such as P2P, O2C, and R2R.
  • Develop and be responsible for detailed project plans, budgets, risk registers, resource allocations, and governance frameworks, following best practices (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
  • Drive process standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement to elevate service quality and efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with Sales and Solutioning teams to support the pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Design future-state operating models and transformation roadmaps tailored to client needs and strategic objectives.
  • Build and deliver compelling client-facing materials, including proposals, process assessments, value propositions, and case studies.
  • Contribute subject matter expertise in finance transformation and shared services during client meetings, RFP responses, and due diligence activities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective clients and internal stakeholders to foster trust and alignment.

Essential

  • Consistent track record of leading finance transformation initiatives within shared services or BPO environments.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Expertise in end-to-end finance processes and industry best practices.
  • Commercially aware, with a proven understanding of business development processes in a customer-focused setting.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills—both internally and externally.
  • Collaborative mentality with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams, cultures, and time zones.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strategic approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Proficiency in transformation-enabling tools and technologies, such as automation platforms, ERP systems, and reporting dashboards.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting or leading pre-sales activities and engaging directly with clients.
  • Familiarity with leading finance technology platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, and BlackLine.
  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies; Green or Black Belt certification is a plus.
  • Experience in designing or delivering digital finance solutions, including RPA, AI, or machine learning applications in finance.
  • Background in consulting or client-facing transformation roles, with a strong service delivery mindset.
  • A professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is advantageous.
