Job summary

Accountable Recruitment seeks a Transaction Services Associate Director or Director in Manchester to lead the growing Due Diligence offering within its Corporate Finance team. You will own buy-side and sell-side FDD assignments from scoping through to final reporting, acting as the primary client contact.

The role requires ACA/ACCA, around 5-6 years in TS or FDD, and a track record of leading engagements with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with significant transactional experience.
• 5–6 years of Transaction Services or Financial Due Diligence experience.
• Background in Top 20, mid-tier or independent Corporate Finance is advantageous.
• Proven lead experience on Financial Due Diligence assignments with client management.
• Strong financial analysis and ability to communicate findings commercially.
• Capable of independent scoping, fee negotiation and delivery oversight.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Commercial mindset with appetite to originate work and develop networks.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of buy-side and sell-side FDD assignments, managing transactions from scoping to final reporting.
• Primary client contact throughout the transaction process.
• Agreeing scopes, negotiating fees and delivering engagements.
• Leading and reviewing financial analysis and identifying risks and trends.
• Preparing and presenting comprehensive FDD reports with recommendations.
• Mentoring junior team members and overseeing workloads.
• Collaborating with Partners to resolve issues and ensure outcomes.
• Supporting business valuation assignments and wider Corporate Finance projects.
• Building relationships with clients, intermediaries, funders and advisers to generate opportunities.
• Contributing to strategic development and growth of the Transaction Services offering.
