Job summary

Warner Scott in London is seeking an Associate Director to lead Financial Due Diligence engagements for a rapidly growing Transaction Services team. You will manage live transactions, own key workstreams and interact with senior clients.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to pitches and proposals, and drive data- and analytics-enabled diligence. A UK-transaction services background and ACA/CA/ACCA qualification are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• ACA/CA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• UK experience in a Transaction Services / FDD team essential.
• Experience managing live FDD engagements and junior teams.
• Strong financial analysis and report-writing skills.
• Comfortable interacting directly with senior clients.
• Commercially minded with strong project management skills.
• Interest in how technology and analytics can improve transaction execution.

Job description

We are working on an Associate Director hire for a rapidly growing Transaction Services team in London.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced FDD professional who wants greater ownership of live transactions, more direct exposure to senior clients and the opportunity to join a business where progression is driven by performance rather than time served.

The team advises private equity and corporate clients across buy-side and sell-side transactions, combining traditional Financial Due Diligence with a genuinely data and technology-led approach.

The Role

You will take a lead role across Financial Due Diligence engagements, with responsibility for both delivery and day-to-day client management.

You will:

• Lead buy-side and sell-side Financial Due Diligence engagements
• Manage multiple live transactions and take ownership of key workstreams
• Analyse quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, cash flow and key financial trends
• Translate detailed financial analysis into clear, commercial conclusions for clients
• Act as a key point of contact for private equity and corporate clients
• Review deliverables and maintain a high standard of output across engagements
• Lead, coach and develop junior members of the team
• Support pitches, proposals and wider business development activity
• Work with data, analytics and technology to enhance the quality and speed of diligence

What We’re Looking For
