Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an Associate Director for Transaction Advisory Services to lead a wide range of deals, including financial due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions for PE and corporate clients.

You will own senior client relationships at board level, originate new work, manage risk, provide technical leadership, oversee report production end-to-end and coach managers within the team. A professional qualification (ACA/ICAS/CA/ACCA or CIPFA) is required.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) required.
• Experience in Transaction Advisory, ideally in financial services or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage senior client relationships at board level.
• Originate new TAS work and lead proposals with minimal partner input.
• Oversee risk assessment and engagement letters across transactions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
• Lead report production and present findings to clients.
• Set fee estimates and manage budgets to ensure profitability.
