Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across a range of high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, suitable for activities such as surveys, design validation, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision.
• Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, including technical specifications.
• Provide technical oversight and contribute ideas for new products or services, including planning for new designs.
• Prepare complex MOVA designs and datasets.
• Ensure compliance with design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual.
• Perform MOVA validation of complex junctions and roundabouts.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and is looking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing a fresh perspective to existing solutions in traffic signal design.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller specifications.
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking.
• Experience with LinSig 3.
• Full UK driving license.
