Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - Nottingham, UK (Remote)
We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems for high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, suitable for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate, collaborate with technical experts, and contribute to critical national infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and protection 24/7.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs and specifications for complex signalised junctions and crossings
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
• Develop complex MOVA Designs and Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards like TSRGD, DMRB, and Traffic Signs Manual
• Perform MOVA Validations on junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have experience designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on existing solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking
• Experience with LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
