Job summary
Yunex Limited is seeking a Traffic Signal Engineer/Senior Engineer/Principal Engineer to lead and deliver complex UK traffic engineering projects. The role involves close liaison with the Consultancy Services team and customers, ensuring design quality and regulatory compliance.
The candidate should demonstrate deep expertise in UK traffic signal design, hands-on software skills (AutoCAD with KeySignals, LinSig, Transyt, UTC/UTMC), and a track record in managing projects to tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience in delivering traffic engineering projects in the UK to current standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and customer expectations with strong communication.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for Health & Safety and the professional development of your team members (where applicable)
- Deliver a wide range of traffic engineering projects across the UK to current national and local standards
- Apply ergonomic, economic and sustainable principles to traffic projects
- Identify and mitigate risks in traffic engineering schemes
- Travel to site visits and customer meetings with occasional overnight stays
- Prepare technical reports and specifications
- Conduct technical checking/approval of traffic engineering schemes
- Prepare consultancy/design quotations and manage project financials
