Job summary

BNY is seeking a Trading Manager to join its Buy-Side Trading Solutions Team in London. You will lead a multi-asset dealing function, optimize order execution, and drive practical, technology-enabled trading strategies for buy-side clients.

You will collaborate with investment teams, risk, and engineering to advance execution quality, oversee team performance, and deliver comprehensive client reporting and governance reviews.

Qualifications

• Deep practical experience with Institutional Trading, TCA, Commission Management and Regulation.
• Demonstrable experience of reporting across asset classes, globally.
• Extensive experience in a reporting or analytical function.
• Expertise with large data sets and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience across equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of executing complex order flow in support of buy-side clients.
• Ensure client orders are executed efficiently, timely, cost-effectively and per trade instructions.
• Collaborate with investment, trade support, quantitative research and engineering teams to evolve trading practices.
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients, vendors and counterparties to improve processes.
• Grow and maintain relationships with broker-dealers.
• Review, update, consolidate and distribute activity reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
• Leverage benchmarking data to improve brokerage practices and insights, identifying new sources.
• Meet client stakeholders, present to governance committees, and attend due diligence meetings.
