Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is hiring a Senior Sales Advisor for our Henley-on-Thames branch. This full-time role covers Monday to Friday 7:30–17:00 with alternate Saturdays 08:00–12:00, at a brand-new site.

You’ll build relationships, manage accounts and identify new opportunities to grow sales in a busy trades counter environment. We value a proven sales or customer-facing background, ideally in building materials, with a commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
• Experience in building materials or DIY is desirable.
• A proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling quotes and orders.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with customers at the trade counter and over the phone.
• Manage existing customer accounts and identify opportunities to grow sales.
• Upsell and cross-sell to increase customer spend.
• Prepare and follow up quotes and enquiries to maximise conversions.
• Work with the wider team and suppliers to deliver excellent service.
