Job summary

Woodgate & Clark Ltd is seeking a Senior TPPD Loss Adjuster to support delivery of high-standard claims handling across major and complex TPPD cases in the Liability team. You will handle construction liability risks, coordinate visits, and liaise with insured, broker, and insurer to ensure accurate cover and robust reporting.

• Essential TPPD claims experience
• Detail oriented with ability to convert analysis into reports

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage a portfolio of major and complex TPPD claims, including construction liability risks
• Conduct site visits when necessary and gather evidence
• Build rapport with Insured, Broker and Insurer and ensure understanding of cover
• Identify information to set accurate reserves for insurers
• Negotiate settlements within policy terms
• Assess issues and provide pragmatic solutions for major claims
• Prepare reports detailing policy analysis, quantum, recovery, and actions
• Instruct and monitor experts (lawyers, surveyors, etc.) as needed
• Establish and agree a communication plan with interested parties
• Approve interim payments and prepare interim reports
• Prepare fully evidenced final settlement reports with documentation
• Maintain development in technical/legal changes affecting major losses
• Provide guidance to junior Liability team members
• Ensure regulatory compliance and report contraventions
• Uphold Code of Business Conduct
• Carry out other duties as required
• Travel within the UK for large complex losses when required
