Job summary

White and Sons, a multi-disciplinary estate agency and surveying firm, invites applications for a Senior Planner to join its expanding planning team in the South East region. You will work with Chartered Planners and specialists across Commercial, Rural, Land and New Homes to deliver diverse schemes and business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policy and guidance.
• Experience running projects through planning processes including applications and appeals.
• Commercial awareness and ability to grow the business through planning insight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for business use.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pre-application, planning applications and appeals across multiple projects.
• Advise internal teams and clients on planning strategy and development opportunities.
• Assess development opportunities during site acquisition and feasibility stages.
• Monitor local plans and legislative updates relevant to the portfolio.
• Represent the company at planning committees, public consultations, and stakeholder meetings.
• Build relationships with local authorities, officers, consultants and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to growth strategy with proactive planning insights.
