Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is recruiting a Senior Planner in Bristol with hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office). You will lead planning applications, advise clients, mentor junior staff, and contribute to regional growth.

A strong MRTPI background and SW planning knowledge are essential, along with excellent communication and project management skills. You will work within a collaborative team, coordinating with authorities and stakeholders, and supporting business development across the South

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualification required with experience in planning consultancy, local authority, or development.
• Strong technical planning knowledge and ability to manage projects end-to-end.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with South West market insight.
• Commercial awareness with interest in networking and business development.

The Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects while playing a key role in client management, project delivery, mentoring junior team members, and supporting the continued growth of the regional business.

About You

• MRTPI qualified.
• Experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or development environment.
• Strong technical planning expertise and project management skills.
