MorePeople is seeking an experienced Senior Town Planner in Horley to lead on pre-application work, planning applications and appeals within a multidisciplinary practice. You will collaborate with teams across commercial, rural, land and new homes, supporting client strategy and site feasibility.

The role offers progression within a long-established organisation with a broad client base and exposure to diverse projects. A Chartered RTPI member or active candidate is preferred.

Formación

• Five+ years in planning, ideally in consultancy or developer environments.
• Chartered membership of the RTPI or working towards chartership.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policy and guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage pre-application work, planning applications and appeals across multiple projects.
• Oversee external consultants and specialist advisors as required.
• Advise clients and internal teams on planning strategy, development opportunities and planning risks.
• Assess planning risks and opportunities during site acquisition and feasibility stages.
• Monitor planning policy changes, local plans and legislative updates relevant to the business.
• Represent the company at planning committees, public consultations and stakeholder meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with planning officers, consultants, clients and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development and the wider growth strategy of the planning team.
