Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Town Planner with 5+ years post-qualification experience for a flexible, hybrid role in the planning & architecture sector. You will work on a range of residential, commercial, education, and regeneration projects within a collaborative, design-led practice.

You will lead planning applications, prepare statements and reports, advise clients and internal teams, manage relationships, liaise with authorities and stakeholders, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a consultancy or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing planning applications and appeals
• Preparing planning statements, reports, and supporting documentation
• Providing strategic planning advice to clients and internal teams
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to team development
