Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Town Planner with 5+ years PQE to join its planning team. Flexible or hybrid working is available as part of a design-led practice known for high-profile projects.

You will deliver planning across residential, commercial, education and regeneration sectors, collaborating with architects, urban designers and stakeholders to drive sustainable developments from concept to approval.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualified (or working towards).
• Minimum 5 years' PQE in a consultancy or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy & procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage planning applications and appeals.
• Prepare planning statements, reports & documentation.
• Provide strategic planning advice to clients and internal teams.
• Manage client relationships and act as a main contact.
• Liaise with local authorities, consultants & stakeholders.
• Support junior team members and contribute to team development.
