Qualifications

• Postgraduate RTPI-accredited planning qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and policy framework.
• Excellent written communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of planning applications from appointment to determination.
• Assess enquiries and advise on planning strategy.
• Research planning history, policy and site constraints.
• Undertake site visits and prepare planning appraisals.
• Prepare fee proposals, statements and certificates of lawfulness.
• liaise with LPA, consultees and stakeholders.
• Monitor applications and keep clients informed.
• Represent clients at meetings, hearings and events.
