Job summary

The Planner Jobs Redactive Publishing Limited is seeking a Planning Consultant to join its team, working across Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton offices. This full-time, office-based role offers a varied workload on residential and commercial development projects.

You will provide planning advice, support the preparation and delivery of planning applications, and collaborate with architects, Local Planning Authorities and clients. RTPI membership is preferred, or willingness to pursue it.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–6 years' planning experience in either public or private sector.
• RTPI-qualified or working towards full membership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning advice and support preparation/delivery of planning applications.
• Collaborate with architects, technical specialists, and Local Planning Authorities.
• Support expansion of residential and commercial development projects through effective planning input.
