The successful candidate will have extensive experience in planning consultancy, strong knowledge of the UK planning system, and the ability to manage applications from inception to determination.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in planning consultancy, developer or local authority environment.
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and development management.
• Experience managing planning applications from inception through to determination.
• Experience dealing with planning authorities and negotiating planning issues.
• Excellent report-writing and analytical skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand clients' objectives.
• The confidence to manage projects and communicate effectively with clients and consultants.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team.
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to planning challenges.
