Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant in town planning to lead consenting inputs on major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate applications, advise clients, and negotiate with statutory bodies while working with cross-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a degree in town planning and RTPI membership or progression. You will contribute to a growing Infrastructure Planning Team and support high-profile projects with national impact.

Qualifications

• Degree in town planning or equivalent is required.
• Member of RTPI or working towards RTPI membership preferred.
• Experience leading town planning/consenting inputs on major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning/consenting inputs on major infrastructure projects (DCOs, DNSs, TWAOs).
• Provide technical advice and manage client consenting requirements.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of consent applications under relevant acts.
• Negotiate with statutory bodies and stakeholders on behalf of clients.
• Lead cross-disciplinary engagement and provide technical oversight.
• Support knowledge sharing and development within project teams.
