Job summary

Motorway, the UK's largest online car-selling platform, seeks a Senior Total Reward Analyst to own compensation, equity, and commission across the business. You will report to the CPO and work closely with senior leadership and Finance to shape a scalable rewards function aided by AI tools.

You will manage market pricing, equity plan analysis, and commission reviews, partnering with People, Finance and leadership to drive strategic reward decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in total rewards, compensation and benefits, or reward is desirable but not essential.
• Hands-on user of AI tools for data analysis, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Comfortable in a small, tight-knit team where work has direct impact and you pick up diverse tasks.
• Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent communication across People, Finance and the wider business.

Responsibilities

• Own market pricing and pay benchmarking using external surveys and job matching.
• Build salary bands and use AI tooling to drive efficiency in the structure.
• Run the annual merit cycle and gender pay gap reporting with CPO, People Partners, and Finance.
• Keep Humaans HRIS accurate and build compensation dashboards for decision-making.
• Support Talent Acquisition and People Partners on benchmarking and offers.
• Manage employee equity plans (EMI/unapproved options) and analyze cap table dynamics.
• Analyze equity burn and partner on plan design and communication.
