Job summary

Epic Games in the UK is seeking a Senior Tools Programmer to evolve artist tools inside the Unreal Editor, concentrating on geometry and texture processing, terrain authoring, and procedural generation. You will help enable both user-driven and agentic workflows and push new interaction paradigms to accelerate content creation.

You will directly impact artist productivity by building user-facing tools and collaborating with a distributed team across the company’s Unreal Engine projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing artist tooling for games or film.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine tooling.
• Experience shaping tools used by artists across pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Support and extend artist tools for internal and external users.
• Refactor tools for accessibility and efficiency in agentic workflows.
• Create new tools intersecting user- and agent-driven content creation.
• Collaborate with artists on internal projects and productions.
• Work with developers across teams on shared initiatives.
• Contribute to major Unreal Editor initiatives.
